On September 3, at 08։30 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the Zod Bridge: there were stuck citizens. The rescuers' help was needed.

Two fire units from Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Toyota" and "Mercedes-Benz" cars collided on the 52nd km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

The rescuers pulled the driver and passenger of “Mercedes-Benz” car out of the car and moved to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the of the gas valve of "Mercedes-Benz" car.
