On June 29, at 00:51 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Jermuk highway in Vayk town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” and “Hyundai” cars collided at the 137th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers and the passenger of “Hyundai” car had been taken out of the cars and hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconcerted the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
