On November 4, at 15:42 information was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the bridge in Vedi town on Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "Toyota" (driver M. K. born in 1975) and "GAZelle" (driver N. S. born in 1965) cars collided, as a result "GAZelle" car overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of "GAZelle" car and passenger N. R. (born in 1982) had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers alongside the local forces, put back onto "GAZelle" car and removed onto the roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, carried out road washing activities.
