On August 31, at 20:09 information was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on M-2 Yerevan-Meghri roadway: there were casualties: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of Ra dispatched to the scene. 
It turned out that "BMW" (driver A. G. born in 1994) and "KIA" (driver A. I. born in 2002) car collided on the 141st km of the M-2 Yerevan-Meghri roadway: the roadway was one-way.
On September 1, as of 02:08, the traffic flow was restored.

The rescuers moved the car drivers and passengers of "KIA" car A. M. (born in 2002) and H. M. (born in 2002) to the ambulance, who was hospitalized in a medical center, where the doctors assessed the health condition of the casualties as fair.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
