On June 19, at 20:19 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near a gas station in Yelpin village: there was a stuck citizen and the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Volvo" truck and "Mercedes-Benz" car collided at 95th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway. The driver of the latter was stuck in the car.

The ambulance doctor recorded the death of the driver and the passenger was provided with appropriate medical assistance on the spot.

The rescuers removed the dead body of "Mercedes-Benz" car driver from the car and moved to the mortuary vehicle, loaded the car to a tow truck and implemented the washing activities of the road.
