On March 31, at 19։45 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the crossroads of Zaritap village: there were casualties and the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” and “KIA” cars collided at the 140th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, 3 casualties had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery, removed the driver’s dead body from “VAZ” car, moved to the mortuary vehicle, loaded the cars to a tow truck and washed the road.
