On July 4, at 13:47 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Noratus village: there were casualties.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Dodge” car ran off the roadway and crashed into a rock and mounds of earth at the 33rd km of Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway. The driver died on the spot and four passengers were hospitalized to a medical center.

The rescuers disconcerted the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the driver’s dead body to the ambulance.
