On January 24, at 20:00 information was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Gyumri roadway: there were stuck citizens and the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that, cars of the brands “Nissan” (driver K. M. born in 1985) and “Toyota” (driver R. M. born in 1972) cars collided at the 106th km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway. The driver of the latter was stuck in the car.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, K. M. was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected automotive battery and closed the gas valve of “Toyota” car, pulled stuck R. M. out of the and moved to the ambulance. The latter was hospitalized in a medical center.
