On January 8, at 18:13 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Mastara village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that at the 55th km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway,  "Nissan" car ran off the roadway, rolled over into a gorge and got stuck in a snowdrift.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as pulled the car out of the roadway.

The emergency personnel provided first aid to the driver and passenger on the spot.
