On August 24, at 20։05 emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Tsovagyugh-Chambarak roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mazda” and “Opel” cars collided at the 3rd km of Tsovagyugh-Chambarak roadway, as a result the latter ran off the roadway and fell into a water pipe.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas cylinder valve of “Opel” car, pulled the driver and 5 passengers out of it and moved to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized in medical centers.
