On November 4, at 17։38 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Rya-Taza village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that at the 16th km of Tsaghkahovit-Aparan roadway “Mercedes-Benz”, “GAZ” cars and “Volvo” truck collided. The driver of “Mercedes-Benz” car died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “GAZ” and four passengers had been hospitalized. One of the passengers died on the way to the hospital.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the vehicles, removed the stuck dead body of “Mercedes-Benz” driver out and moved to the ambulance.
