On March 18, at 19։35 an emergency call was received at Syunik Regional Operative Management Center that road traffic accident had occurred on Sisian-Goris roadway, there were casualties: rescuers’ assistance was required.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that on the 16th km of Sisian-Goris roadway “Opel” car had run off the roadway and rolled approximately 150 meters into a ravine: three passengers died at the scene.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery, closed the gas valve of the car, carried the driver on a stretcher to the ambulance and transferred the bodies to the mortuary vehicle.

The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center.
