On May 23, at 12:11 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the 5th km of the roadway leading to the Haghartsin Monastery Complex: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mitsubishi” car ran off the roadway (about 200 meters) and overturned.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, alongside the ambulance personal moved the passenger to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.

The ambulance personal pronounced the death of the driver, the rescuers moved the dead body to the ambulance.
