On April 24, at 18։50 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on the Tbilisi highway of Yerevan city: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that near “Lexus” and “KIA” cars collided at 15/1 Tbilisi Highway, then “Lexus” car crashed into a traffic light, which broke and fell onto the roadway.

A citizen was hit as a result of the accident. The latter was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers removed the traffic light from the roadway, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
