On December 31, at 02:47 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “BMW” car (driver M. H. born in 1986) ran off the roadway, crashed into a concrete barrier on the side of the road and fell into a gorge (about 5 meters) near the 15th km of Stepanavan-Vanadzor roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver, passengers A. H. (born 2021), A. H. (born 1964), Sh. N. (born 1992), A. H. (born 2015) and A. H. (born 2021) had been taken out of the car.

The rescuers moved the passengers to the ambulance: they were hospitalized at the medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
