On August 4, at 00:33 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred in Spitak town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Hyundai" and "VAZ" cars collided at the 4th km of Spitak-Vanadzor roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars. The driver of "VAZ" car was hospitalized at a medical center.
