On June 23, at 00։28 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred before reaching the crossroads of Shinuhayr village: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Ford” and “GAZ-53” cars collided at the 19th km of Sisian-Goris roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three casualties had been pulled out of the car by the local forces: the latter were hospitalized in a medical center.

The ambulance doctor recorded the death of the driver of “Ford” car.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, removed it from the roadway and moved the driver’s dead body to the mortuary vehicle.
