On September 27, at 09։32 information was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ltsen-Tatev roadway.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Shacman" truck and "Mack" tanker (loaded with 25 tons of fuel oil) collided on the 21st km of Sisian-Ltsen roadway. The tanker truck overturned and about 8-10 tons of fuel oil spilled.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Mack” tanker truck had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers used special equipment to put the tanker truck back onto its wheels: the fuel oil leak stopped.
