On January 10, at 08:59 information was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near a recreation area near Lake Sevan.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that on the 10th km of Sevan-Martuni-Getap roadway, "Nissan" car (driver T. N. born in 1979) ran off the roadway and appeared in a gorge (about 5 meters).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, five casualties had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, blocked off the area.
