On September 23, at 16։34 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that a truck had turned onto its side on the roadway leading from the food court of Sevan town to Ijevan town: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Ford" car (driver S. H. born in 1990) and “Iveco” truck loaded with gas (driver M. G. born in 1983) collided near the 80th km of Sevan-Ijevan roadway. The truck ran off the roadway and turned onto its side during the process: there was a diesel fuel leak from the tank.

The driver of the truck was rendered medical care by the ambulance employees.

The rescuers blocked off the scene and implemented the cleaning-up actions of the road.
