On July 24, at 13:15 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Sevan-Gavar roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and one fire unit Special Water and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mercedes-Benz" car at the 4th km of Sevan-Gavar roadway veered off the roadway and partially ended up in Lake Sevan.

Before the rescuers arrived on the scene three citizens had been removed from the vehicle by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars, one citizen was brought out of the vehicle and moved to the ambulance.
