On July 23, at 05:12 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Hayravank village on Sevan-Gavar roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Opel" car at the 24th km of Sevan-Gavar roadway veered off the roadway (about 5 meters) and ended up in a roadside ditch. 

Before the rescuers arrived on the scene the driver and the passenger were transferred to the medical center. 

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
