On October 17, at 00։07 information was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Noyemberyan-Jujevan roadway: there were casualties and the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” and “Mercedes-Benz” cars collided at the 6th km of Noyemberyan-Jujevan raodway. 

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three casualties had been pulled out of the cars and taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, blocked off the scene, took two passengers out of “VAZ” and “Mercedes-Benz” cars and moved to the ambulances. The latter were hospitalized. The death of the passenger of “VAZ” car was recorded at the medical center.
