On April 11, at 14։18 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Vardsenik village: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car ran off the roadway (about 5 meters) and overturned at the 13th km of Martuni-Vardenis roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passenger had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as moved the other passenger to the ambulance: the latter was also hospitalized in a medical center.
