On September 26, at 01:09 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Astghadzor village: there was a victim.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "Chevrolet Cruze" car (driver D. H. born in 1989) ran off the roadway and rolled over about 30 meters into the nearby gorge on the 3rd km of the Martuni-Vardenis roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver's dead body had been found about 50 meters away from the car: the ambulance personal moved the dead body to the Martuni Medical Center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved it onto the roadway.
