On December 21, at 13:14 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Vardadzor village: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Volkswagen” car (driver G. G. born in 1993) ran off the roadway and crashed into a tree on the 11th km of Martuni-Gavar roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver had been gotten out of the car on his own and hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected automotive battery of the car and moved it onto the roadway.
