On January 10, at 09:44 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Lanjik-Maralik roadway: there was a stuck citizen.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that  “Howo” truck (driver Kh. Kh. born in 1956) and a “VAZ” car (driver S. Gh. born in 1991) collided on the 90th km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway (near Lanjik village).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “VAZ” car, passengers R. Gh. (born in 1997), Kh. G. (born in 1995), V. G. (born in 1998) and the driver of “Howo” truck had been pulled out of the cars by the local forces. The casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers closed the gas cylinder valves of the cars, pulled passenger V. G. (born in 1995) out of “VAZ” car and moved to the ambulance, who was hospitalized at the medical center.
