On September 30, at 09:45 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Kapan-Verin Khotanan roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Toyota” (driver K. S. born in 1985) and "Iveko" (driver H. Gh.) cars collided on the 18th km of Kapan-Verin Khotanan roadway, as a result of “Toyota” car ran off the roadway and appeared in a drainage stream.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Toyota” car and passenger L. D. (born in 1961) had been hospitalized in a medical center, where their health condition was assessed as serious.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of "Toyota" car.
