On April 12, at 08:15 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near a restaurant complex on Kapan-Kajaran roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” truck ran off the roadway and overturned at the 9th km of Kapan-Kajaran roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the truck, pulled the driver (an Iranian citizen) out of the vehicle and moved to an ambulance.

The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center.
