On August 4, at 15:20 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that a car accident had occurred in Yerevanyan Street in Ijevan town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mitsubishi" and "GAZel" cars collided at the 3rd km of Ijevan-Yerevan roadway. 

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passengers of the “Mitsubishi” car had been transferred to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars and brought two passengers of "Mitsubishi" car out and moved to the ambulance.
