On December 28, at 14։06 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Gyumri-Azatan roadway: there were no casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that at the 1st km of Gyumri-Azatan raodway, Mercedes-Benz and Lada cars collided.

The body of a passenger was found outside the Mercedes-Benz. The driver of "Mercedes-Benz" was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers took the passenger out of "Lada" and moved to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, and removed two dead bodies from the cars.
