On March 22, at 17:52 an emergency call was received at Tavush Regional Operative Management Center that road traffic accident had occurred on Dilijan-Vanadzor roadway, there were casualties, and gas leak was reported: rescuers’ assistance was required.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that on the 7th km of Dilijan-Vanadzor roadway “Opel” and “Lexus” cars had collided.

Two casualties were hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and stopped the gas leak from “Opel” car.
