On January 24, at 00:25 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred near a food joint on Baghramyan Avenue of Yerevan city: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Recue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Volkswagen" (driver E. K. born in 1999) and "Mercedes-Benz" cars collided and as a result the latter crashed into a tree.

Before the rescuers arrived on the scene the drivers were hospitalized in the medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and closed the gas valve of "Mercedes-Benz" car.
