On January 27, at 08:00 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Ashtarak roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Toyota” car (driver Sh. Kh.) and “Mercedes-Benz” truck (driver K. N.) collided at the 5th km of Ashtarak-Yerevan roadway and ended up outside the carriageway. “Mercedes-Benz” truck overturned and the driver died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Toyota” had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers removed the dead body of “Mercedes-Benz” truck driver from the car with the help of special equipment and carried out cooling activities on “Toyota” car.
