On January 26, at 22։35 information was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ashtarak-Yerevan roadway: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Opel” (driver V. G. born in 1995) and “Kia” (driver A. P. born in 1979) cars collided at the 7th kilometer of Ashtarak-Yerevan roadway, as a result “Opel” car overturned and appeared on the roadway, there was a fuel leak. There were no casualties.

The rescuers put “Opel” car back onto its wheels, disconnected automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, stopped the fuel leak, removed the car from the roadway and conducted washing activities on the roadway.
