On December 26, at 11:06 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ashtarak Highway: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

It turned out that "VAZ" (driver F. M. born in 1971) and "KamAZ" (driver R. B. born in 1980) cars collided: there were casualties.

Ambulance personal pronounced the death of the passenger of “VAZ” car, M. M. (born in 1937) and provided the driver with appropriate medical assistance on the spot. The latter was hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of “VAZ” car, moved passenger S. G. (born 1975) on a stretcher to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized at the medical center.
