On August 7, at 07:45 information was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Karbi village on Ashtarak-Aparan roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" and "GAZel" cars collided at the 5th kilometer of the Ashtarak-Aparan roadway: "GAZel" car veered off the roadway, crashed into a nearby wall, and overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived on the scene the passengers of "VAZ" and the driver of "GAZel" car were pulled out of the cars and hospitalized at the medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected cars from the power supply and closed the gas valves.
