On June 21, at 16:31 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ashtarak-Agarak roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mercedes-Benz" and "Mini Cooper" cars collided at the 5th km of Ashtarak-Agarak roadway, as a result the passenger of the latter died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three passengers of "Mercedes-Benz" had been taken out and taken to a medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, moved the passenger's dead body to the ambulance and implemented the washing actions of the road.
