On April 21, at 14:12 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the roadway leading from Artashat town to Vostan village: there was a gas leak.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Nissan Rogue" and "Nissan Tiida" cars collided at the 1st km of Artashat-Vostan roadway: there was a gas leak.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers and 7 passengers had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
