On May 29, at 08:05 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident with fire had occurred on Aparan-Kuchak highway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Opel” car and “Volkswagen” minibus collided at the 9th km of Aparan-Kuchak roadway: the fire broke out in “Opel” car.

The fire was localized at 08:34 and extinguished at 08:47. “Opel” car was burnt.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, 13 citizens had been pulled out of the cars by the local forces, 4 of casualties had been taken to a medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene: the automotive battery of “Volkswagen” minibus was disconnected, 8 casualties were moved to the ambulances and private vehicles: the casualties were taken to a medical center. The doctors pronounced the death of one of the citizens.
