On August 31, at 18։14- an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on Tumanyan-Alaverdi roadway of Lori province: there were casualties.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Toyota" and "Opel" cars collided near the 16th km of Alaverdi-Vanadzor roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of "Opel" car, the driver of "Toyota" car and three passengers had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of "Opel" car and transported the passenger of "Toyota" car to the medical center in a rescue vehicle.
