On January 2, at 22:39 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Alaverdi-Mets Ayrum roadway: the car fell into a gorge. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" (driver A. M. born in 2000) car ran off the roadway and crashed into a mound of earth on the 22nd km of Alaverdi-Mets Ayrum roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver had been pulled out of the car by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as moved the driver to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center.
