On July 1, at 07:00 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on Akhtala-Shnogh roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car ran off the roadway and crashed into a roadside barrier near the 14th km of Alaverdi-Bagratashen roadway: the driver died.

One passenger was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as used special tools to remove the dead body of the driver from the car.
