On December 13, at 20:57 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on Abovyan-Yerevan roadway: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department, the rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Porsche” car ran off the roadway, collided with parked “BMW” (driver A. R. born in 1977) and “GAZ” (driver Kh. S.), then with containers at a nearby gas station, ran over citizen A. G. (born in 1970), who died on the spot.

The rescuers blocked off the area, disconnected automotive battery of “GAZ” car and remained on duty until the gas cylinder of the car was discharged.
