On October 24, at 08։51 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Berd-Tavush roadway: the bus fell into a gorge. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” car and “Hyundai” bus collided at the 8th km of Berd-Paravakar roadway. The latter ran off the roadway and slid about 40 meters into a nearby gorge.

The rescuers blocked of the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, removed 3 passengers from the bus and moved to the ambulance on a stretcher.

According to the RA Ministry of Health, there were 11 casualties.
