On May 17, at 18:49 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car had been overturned in Tavush reservoir: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Toyota” car ran off the roadway (about 2 m) and slid onto the shore of the reservoir on the roadway to the Tavush reservoir. The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car, fixed it with a rope and blocked the scene, then used special equipment to remove it from the roadway.
