On June 1, at 14:08 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Tatev Monastery: there were casualties.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Toyota” car ran off the roadway and crashed into a rock, as a result of which the driver and 4 passengers received bodily injuries near the area called "Ditaket" in Halidzor village.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as provided appropriate assistance to the trapped citizen. All casualties were moved to the ambulance: the latter were taken to a medical center.
