On May 29, at 01:10 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway.

The operative group and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car crashed into “Mercedes-Benz” truck parked on the sidewalk near 60 Marshal Baghramyan Street in Vanadzor town. One passenger died on the spot.

The rescuers pulled one passenger out of “VAZ” car and moved to the ambulance. The latter and the driver were hospitalized in a medical center.

Two more passengers were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers implemented road washing operations.
