On June 12, at 17:16 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that a car accident had occurred in the mountains near Geghashen village: “UAZ” car rolled over and there was a victim.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and two rescue groups from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the driver of “UAZ” car fell into a gorge approximately 30 meters deep while driving up a mountain, and died.

The rescuers retrieved the driver's body from the gorge and brought it to the ambulance using a rescue vehicle.
