On February 1 at 01:02 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred in the beginning of Akunk village on Abovyan-Akunk village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and the rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Maserati” car (driver E. A. born in 1991) ran off the roadway and crashed into trees on the side of the road. The passenger V. N. (born in 1996) died.

The rescuers alongside with citizens pulled the driver out of the car and moved the ambulance: the casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers removed the stuck dead body of V. N. out.
